Price is not a quality comparison. Credits, connectors, and enterprise terms differ across vendors, so unit economics cannot be concluded from monthly fees alone.
Fit boundaries
SPM-Polaris is a good fit when you:
- already hold OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, or enterprise provider accounts;
- need cross-session memory without rewriting your agent runtime;
- pay for repeated long-context replay, or run agentic sessions flooded by tool output;
- need to know which evidence entered the prompt and which history was removed;
- need signed deletion receipts with anti-resurrection guarantees;
- want to choose credential custody across Hosted Proxy, MCP, and Local Proxy.
SPM-Polaris should not be your first choice when you:
- require air-gapped or fully in-VPC self-hosted memory;
- mainly need a large SaaS connector catalog or video/PDF content pipelines;
- require mature enterprise compliance certifications or a formal SLA;
- optimize primarily for sub-second cold retrieval;
- primarily need generic gateway routing, fallback, or guardrails.
